Lead Architect / Developer

STA Group is part of DKG and is located in Chicago, IL.  This role will work out of one of our clients near the DKG Headquarters, 222 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 2800.

Role

STA Group is looking for a Lead Architect / Developer to work with one of our trusted partners and clients in developing their enterprise architecture.  Domain knowledge is required in capital markets.  This person will help our client in building out the team in the future as well, providing guidance and best practices around application development and architecture.  The team will create scalable, automated solutions in an event-driven agile environment.

Required experience and competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, computer science/engineering
• 7+ years (varying levels of experience) in Software Engineering, .NET application development
• Financial services domain, capital markets
  • Nice to have domain: banking/equity capital markets
• Building micro-services with .NET core
• Experience working in Azure build SaaS solutions
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Experience with Azure persistence (at least one of):
  • Managed RDBMS services
  • Postgres DB
  • SQL Data Warehouse
• Azure Functions
• GIT
• SCRUM / Kanban
• Nice to have: React experience, full-stack or front-end development
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, effectively manage priorities and communicate progress
• Resourcefulness, efficient, problem-solver, and a strong sense of ownership
• High level of professionalism, strong team player, strong communication
